Alfred Stevens

Alfred and his family began attending COHS in early 2005, upon their relocation to Harleysville from the San Francisco Bay Area. A confirmed Episcopalian, Al and his wife Rose have previously been members of other Episcopal congregations, including St. Paul’s (Brooklyn, NY), St. Peter’s by-the-Sea (Bay Shore, NY), and St. Paul’s (Oakland, CA).

Since joining COHS, Al has served in several capacities, including a founding member of the Endowment Fund Board, a lector, and an usher.

Al has a BS degree in Economics, as well as an MBA degree in General Management, which he obtained from the New York Institute of Technology.

Al is Assistant Vice President of Operations at Parkway Corporation, a real estate development and parking management firm, headquartered in Philadelphia, where he has worked since 2005. Prior to joining Parkway, he worked as General Manager for Impark in San Francisco, General Manager for CPS in St. Louis, MO, and City Manager for National Car Rental in NYC.

Al’s wife Rose is a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital Upper Bucks Campus. They have a daughter Alfre, a recent graduate of Seton Hall University with a BS degree in Business Administration (Marketing), and currently enrolled in Seton Hall’s MBA program. His mother Edna is also a member of COHS.

Over the years, the Stevens family has made charitable contributions to several organizations, including the Episcopal Community Services. They also pay the annual tuition of a student to attend St. Teresa’s High School in Monrovia, Liberia.
